How did you hear about your internship?

I first learned about the internship opportunities with Syfan Logistics through conversations with the Career Services team. I also attended the All-Majors Career Fair on the Dahlonega campus and spoke with the representatives from Syfan.  

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

I’ve enjoyed so much about interning at Syfan, but what’s stood out the most has been the connections I’ve made- with both the other interns and my coworkers. Every day brings a new learning experience, and I’ve grown so much because of it. One of the most valuable parts of the internship has been having a mentor. Syfan pairs each intern with a mentor for the duration of the program, and having someone to guide me and share their knowledge has made a huge difference.

This experience has been an incredibly valuable steppingstone for my future career. Not only have I gained hands-on experience directly related to my major, but I’ve also learned how to develop a consistent work routine, navigate a professional environment, and communicate effectively with professionals. These skills have given me a solid foundation and more confidence as I prepare to enter the workforce.
