How did you hear about your internship?

I heard about the internship with Syfan Logistics at the 168¿ª½±Íø¹ÙÍø Career Fair where I had the opportunity to meet Dan Bacus and learn more about the company. I also joined the Syfan online mentorship program, which gave me valuable insights into the organization through sessions with various speakers and managers. I see this internship as a great foot in the door and an excellent way to learn more about the company and operations.

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

The most valuable part of this experience has been stepping out of my comfort zone and gaining exposure to different areas of the company. I appreciate the versatility of the internship- earning my Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma, sitting in on the sales bullpen, and connecting with professionals and fellow interns with similar goals. It’s clear that Syfan truly invests in its interns, and that support has made a lasting impact on me.

This internship has helped me strengthen my social skills and improve how I communicate and solve problems in a professional setting. Starting to build this kind of experience early in my college career has given me a strong foundation and a head start in developing the skills and confidence I’ll need to succeed in any future role.
