Mental Health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Having good mental health is being aware of everyday feelings and emotions and learning to cope with the challenges life brings.

168¿ª½±Íø¹ÙÍø provides a support network for your mental health that includes mental health counselors, peer educators, care and outreach, and other resources.

168¿ª½±Íø¹ÙÍø uses sexual misconduct as a broad term for encompassing behaviors that are prohibited by the Sexual Misconduct Policy.

These behaviors include sexual harassment, nonconsensual sexual contact, nonconsensual sexual penetration, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual exploitation.

168¿ª½±Íø¹ÙÍø offers free certifications to student, faculty/staff to help someone experiencing a mental health concern. 

Guided suicide prevention training that teaches how to Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) someone who may be suicidal. 168¿ª½±Íø¹ÙÍø offers free certification courses to current student, faculty and staff. Register for this 1.5 hour course.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches the risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help. This course is free and certifications last for three years.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 12 & 19, 2-5 p.m.
  • Friday, Mar. 21 & 28, 9 a.m. - noon
  • Thursday, Apr. 3 & 10, noon - 3 p.m. 

Dates will be removed from the online registration when sessions fill up, and registrants will be urged to sign up for a different date or join a waitlist.

Curated by student interns Madalyn Courson and Elizabeth Padilla Brun under the direction of Dr. Ana Pozzi Harris, the exhibit highlights the university's artistic and historic legacy.
